    PACS is a growing mental health group practice based in New York City, dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered, and culturally competent mental health services. Our interdisciplinary team of mental health practitioners offers evaluation and psychotherapy services to clients in New York State. We are committed to accessibility and offer low-cost therapy slots for uninsured individuals and those in need. Additionally, we provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and forensic services.

This position starts part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time. Currently, the position is fully remote, with the possibility of in-office work by the end of the year.

    Skills and qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Mental Health Counseling

    • Licensed to practice in New York State (limited permit applicants or LMSWs working towards their LCSW will also be considered)

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Proficiency in electronic record keeping

    • Training and experience in evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, motivational interviewing)

    • Comprehensive understanding of psychopathology

    • Proficiency in an additional language is a plus

    • Experience in providing group therapy is a plus

    • A strong commitment to social justice and expanding access to mental healthcare

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Maintain a caseload of individual psychotherapy clients

    • Conduct intake evaluations as assigned by the practice

    • Develop and implement treatment plans for clients

    • Participate in intake and disposition meetings

    • Attend weekly supervision meetings

    • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation (e.g., progress notes, treatment plans, intake evaluations)

    • Make appropriate referrals based on client needs

    • Participate in practice-wide trainings as determined by the practice

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
